We only rank products we can show a live, dated price for, which is why the Delta comes out of the roundups even though the bar itself still exists.
We keep pages like this one up instead of deleting them. If you bought on our recommendation, you should be able to find what we said and why; and if you’re searching for the Delta because you already own one, you deserve a straight answer about its status rather than a redirect to a different product pretending to be the same thing.
What it was, and why we picked it
The Delta Basic was a 28.5mm multipurpose bar with bushing sleeves and, unusually for its price, both IPF and Olympic knurl ring marks on one shaft. It held the best all-rounder slot in our best Olympic barbell roundup and the best value power bar slot in our powerlifting roundup for one reason: 28.5mm splits the difference between an Olympic bar and a power bar, and the dual ring marks let you index a competition bench grip and a snatch grip on the same shaft. The other half of the case was REP Fitness itself — a specialist strength brand with published spec sheets and reachable support, rather than an import reseller whose listing specs shift from batch to batch. That reasoning still holds for REP’s gear generally; it just no longer holds for a bar we can price and link on Amazon.
What replaced it
The all-rounder slot now belongs to the ProsourceFit multipurpose bar, which answers the same brief at the same price with a different set of trade-offs: a 44 lb, 28mm shaft with a 160,000 PSI tensile figure, a phosphate finish, chrome sleeves and a knurl-free center that keeps it comfortable across squats, presses and cleans. It does notcarry the Delta’s IPF and Olympic ring marks — if the dual marks were the reason you were here, the Synergee Regional hard-chrome bar is a live listing that publishes both.
On the powerlifting side, the value-power-bar slot went to the Synergee Rhino— a dedicated 29mm bar with a 190,000 PSI shaft, a 1,500 lb rating and an aggressive volcano knurl, which is a harder, stiffer, more single-purpose bar than the Delta ever was. Everything in both roundups carries a live, dated price.
