Privacy Policy

What Knurl Knock collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this short and plain because that's how we'd want to read it.

Effective date: July 22, 2026.

Knurl Knock (“we,” “us”) is an independent affiliate content site. We don’t sell products directly, we don’t run user accounts, and we collect as little personal information as we can. This policy explains what we do collect and why.

What we collect

  • Information you send us. If you use our contact form or email us, we receive the name, email address, and message you provide. That information is delivered to us by email so we can read and reply.
  • Usage data via Google Analytics 4.Like most sites, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use our pages. It collects standard, largely anonymized data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and referring site. We use this in aggregate; we don’t try to identify individual readers.
  • Affiliate cookies. When you click an affiliate link — for example, to Amazon through the Amazon Associates program — the retailer may set a cookie so any resulting purchase is credited to us. Those cookies are set and controlled by the retailer, not by us, and we don’t see your payment details.

How we use it

We use contact information solely to respond to you. We use analytics data to see which content is helpful, fix problems, and improve the site. We use affiliate cookies to earn the commissions that fund the site, at no extra cost to you. We do not use your information to build advertising profiles ourselves.

Third parties

Two third parties are worth naming. Google Analyticsprocesses the usage data described above under Google’s own privacy policy. Amazon, through the Amazon Associates program, sets and reads its own affiliate cookies under Amazon’s privacy policy when you follow one of our links. We encourage you to review their policies for how they handle data on their end.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. This site relies on analytics cookies and, when you click out to a retailer, affiliate cookies as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; doing so won’t break the site, though some features may behave differently.

We don’t sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. The only sharing that happens is the third-party processing described above, which is what makes the site work.

Children’s privacy

This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Your choices

  • Opt out of Google Analyticsby installing Google’s official browser opt-out add-on, or by blocking analytics cookies in your browser.
  • Manage cookiesat any time through your browser’s privacy settings.
  • Reach usto ask what we hold or to request deletion of anything you’ve sent us.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we’ll revise the effective date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
